Long before SKINPREP existed, before treatments, protocols, or labs — I have always been fascinated with skin, I was the person mixing little “potions” from natural ingredients, curious about how things worked and what happened when you combined one ingredient with another. I didn’t just want to use products, I wanted to understand them.
That curiosity grew into a career as an aesthetician, working hands-on with skin every day. But the more clients I treated, the more questions I had. Why did one ingredient work beautifully on one person, but cause issues for another? Why did certain formulas look great on paper, but fail in real life?
Understanding Skin At Its Core
I searched high and low for products that could truly support my clients’ skin and give them the results they so desperately wished for, researching ingredients obsessively, analysing INCI lists, testing combinations, and constantly asking
“what if this was paired with that?”
What if the percentages were different?
What if the delivery system was better?
That curiosity took me deeper into years of study and training, where I qualified as a cosmetic formulator and began developing products from the ground up — with precision, intention, and a true understanding of how skin functions.
That’s where SKINPREP was born.
